At SEEAG (Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture), our mission is to connect students and community members to the farm origins of their food and to the people who grow it. Through free, hands-on educational programs, we aim to inspire the next generation to value agriculture, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
In an effort to reach and educate more community members about local agriculture, SEEAG launched Ventura County Farm Day in 2013, followed by Santa Barbara County Farm Day in 2019.
Farm Day is a first-of-its-kind FREE event where local farms, ranches, wineries, and agricultural organizations open their doors to the public for tours, produce tastings, and family-friendly activities. The event is completely self-guided — explore the Farm Day Trail Map and visit any of the participating locations at your own pace.
With more than 10 locations in each county to choose from, Farm Day offers something for everyone. Join us to learn where your food comes from, connect with the people who grow it, and experience the vibrant world of agriculture right in your own backyard.
